Studying the stories of socially vulnerable families, we are unwillingly facing problems that seem unbelievable. Sometimes a question arises whether the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs is aware of what is happening mainly in the regions. What did we find out? During our meetings in the provinces, we discovered cases that really caused concern.
It turns out that those socially vulnerable families whose documents are normal and should receive monthly allowance are best recommended to leave only the first month's allowance for the person involved in the documentation, after which the beneficiary may receive his monthly payment next month. It means, that the citizen isn’t aware of his rights and an employee in verbal level can lie and get money. Let say that it’s a classic example of corruption.
“We are a vulnerable family and, according to the law, we can get monthly allowance, but the employee, who deals with the documents, has suggested to leave him the one month's allowance and he will accelerate the “getting money” process. And we have agreed without knowing that no one can accelerate the process which is ordinarily planned”, said the resident of Vayoc Dzor province N. H. Our interviewee didn’t want to present itself for not harming anybody.
It is interesting to what extent is the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs aware of similar cases of corruption?
